TPWB Series

The Painting Was Better (TPWB) Series consists of 12"x12" oil paintings on hardboard. Each represents a book in some way. Some of the images are literal, some are abstract; some are about the emotional content, some are more about the actions of the characters.

Sixteen Series

The Sixteen Series contains self-portraits and images from a recent time and place that simultaneously reach back into history and older emotional experiences. This is an exploration of a collision of those elements. All works in this series are oil paintings on canvas, varying sizes.
